Act against the school to prison pipeline!
The school board can help stop the school to prison pipeline! The school board makes policies for their respective school system. Citing a concerned citizen grievances to the school board while encouraging a positive change in policy would help the cause. Policies encouraged would be the banning of suspension, removing police presence within schools, and encouraging positive behavior reinforcement (teaching students to be better instead of punishing them).

- Step 4. Contact the people in power, be it via email or within public meetings hosted by the school county system.
